Last December when Cody and I were trying for a baby I bought a onsie that says my first channukah. I actually don't buy anything for a baby typically before they are born, but I had been feeling so sick and found out a few days before that I was pregnant. I quickly ran into the bloomingdales outlet near Cody's childhood home. When I got into the car I handed him the outfit and he said, "that's cute," and started to drive away. He thought it was for Laila. I had to have him put the car back into park and re-read it. After a moment of confusion he realized this was Laila's second Hannukah, whish meant it wasn't for her. I actually have a video of him realizing. In typical Cody fashion he said, "Congratulations!"

Devestatingly, I ended up losing the baby later that night. I tried not to be upset with myself or blaming myself for having bought the onsie. It was really hard packing it up to bring back to Denver a few weeks later. When I got home I hung it in the extra bedroom closet and prayed there would be a baby to wear it, three weeks later I found out I was pregnant again. I bought that onsie on December 9th, 2022, and a year later, on December 7th, 2023, my little baby boy will be wearing that three month onsie (even though he is still so teeny and wearing his newborn cloths).

That little channukah onsie will now hold my channukah miracle. I pray for anyone else waiting for their miracle to happen, that it will happen for you very soon.

Here is a collection of pajamas that I have open in multiple tabs as I look for this years pajamas for Laila. Do I need one for each night of Channukah for them both?
