I started wearing hats in undergrad when I experienced my first winter with snow. As rare as it was in Atlanta, it still happened. Hats become my new accessory to protect my hair while serving the other purpose of keeping my head warm.
My appreciation for hats functioning as a way to change up an outfit has grown over time. I am very picky with my rimmed hats because I find them a bit tricky to wear with bangs, but with the right size they are perfect! In addition to rimmed hats I really really really like accessorizing with beanies, berets, and thick fabric head-wraps/headbands.
